Meet Mrs. Foust

Mrs. Foust grew up in rural Indiana. She is the daughter of a Baptist preacher and her mother is a teacher and musician. She is a graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. in Education and a major in English Literature.

She also did post graduate work at I.U. She has taught Jr. High language arts to inner-city youths in Indianapolis. She has worked with Head Start and was the director of a large pre-school in Virginia. Since moving to Florida in 1990 with her husband, Michael, she has taught in Christian schools. Mrs. Foust had the interesting experience of taking one complete class from kindergarten through 5th grade. She joined the VCS staff in 1999. Mrs. Foust teaches 6th grade Bible, and the Language Arts courses in 6th through 9th grades.

Meet Mrs. Dolby

Mrs. Marcia Dolby grew up bare-footed in North Miami Beach exploring parks, the Atlantic coastline, and assorted waterways while cheering on the great Miami Dolphin team of the 1970’s. Her love of learning and desire to teach took her to Asbury College in Wilmore, KY where she earned her B.S. degree in elementary education in 1981. After teaching 5th graders at Lakeland Christian School for four years, she began teaching “across the dining room table" as the Lord gave her five children and a Presbyterian pastor to nurture.

In recent years as a foster mom, the Lord taught her much about the emotional needs of children and how they affect the learning process. She brings to VCS a love for children, an insatiable love of learning, and a vigorous desire to glorify God in all of life.

Mrs. Dolby teaches math in grades 6 through 8 and science in grades 6 and 7. She is also the 7th grade homeroom teacher and teaches Bible in our high school freshman class.  Meet Mrs. Albert

Claudia Albert is a native Texan, minored in Education and holds a B.A. in History from the University of South Florida. She has completed all the required education courses and is working towards taking the state certification exam. She is passionate about History and believes the Lord has called her to serve and minister to the students at Venice Christian School.

Since moving to Florida in 1989 with her husband, Glenn, they have been involved in missions, youth and children ministries and have enjoyed raising their family in Venice. They have two sons and a daughter: Raleigh attends college in Fort Myers, Katelynn and Donald recently graduated Venice High School.

Meet Mr. Whipple

Mr. Frank Whipple received a B.S. degree and Teaching Certificate from Florida Southern College. His wife, Jo Ellen, has worked for Christ United Methodist Church for the past 10 years. They have 2 sons and a daughter: Frank Jr. attends the University of Florida, Bobby graduated fromSoutheastern College, and Liana graduated from Venice High School. Mr. Whipple has previously taught at Faith Christian School and spent the last 15 years in the business world as a Sales Manager in the automobile business.

Mr. Whipple is the homeroom teacher for the upper high school students and teaches 8th grade math. In high school he teaches U.S. History, Geometry and Integrated Math. He also coaches the VCS boy's basketball teams.

Meet Mrs. Gadomski

Mrs. Lisa Gadomski teaches the Spanish I and Spanish II classes in our high school.  She also teaches Spanish in the elementary and middle school grades.
