Founder’s Way Legacy Bricks
For 25 years, academic integrity and lessons of faith have been the hallmark of the Venice Christian School experience, giving students the tools they need for lifelong success.
The founders of VCS knew that an integration of faith and learning was essential to academic excellence, and this ideal remains at the forefront of all we do.
Our mission is to educate children academically, spiritually, physically and socially with a Biblical worldview in partnership with families, local churches and the community. Our graduates ar pursuing many trades, professions and ministries locally, nationally and worldwide.
What is it?
Founder’s Way is a permanent brick walkway surrounding the flagpole on campus. The bricks are engraved with personal messages that pay tribute to many VCS families, alumni and benefactors. We invite you to come see the current Founder’s Way and the beautiful messages of faith that have been left as a legacy to our currentVCS family.
It is our desire to place the Founder’s Way bricks throughout the entire VCS Campus. What a legacy for our past, present and future students to walk upon and see every day!
Why are we doing this?
In an effort to continue a legacy of excellence, we are campaigning to raise funds to construct a new building which will house a regulation gym with classrooms that will house 100 additional students.
It is also our desire to be debt free. Although we have raised enough funds in the VCS Capital Campaign for a substantial down payment, we are lead to pay off all debt and be DEBT FREE.
Buying a Founder’s Way brick with an engraved personal message is a great way to leave your VCS legacy. The immediate goal is to sell 6,000 4” x 8” bricks at $150 each to cover the expenses of the new building.
Our ultimate goal is to be completely debt free. This could be accomplished by selling 6,000 of the larger bricks at $250 each. That would be an answer to prayer!
