My name is Nancy Klingbeil and my husband, Bob and I came to Venice from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1982.
Grace United Methodist Church has been our church home since the first month we arrived in Venice.
I worked in sales and banking, until I had my first son, Benjamin in 1985 when I became a stay-at-home mom and had my second son, Zachary.
When my children graduated from high school, I went to work as a DJ at Life 89.1 Christian radio station in Sarasota. I also worked for BLAB tv where did a talk show and got to interview Principal Frimmel and VCS teachers every week, putting the spotlight on the great training for eternity going on at this fine school.
I have taught many Bible studies, been a guest speaker at churches and para-church organizations, chaired The National Day of Prayer celebration in Venice, and been on the State College of Florida Concert committee for 10 years. I am honored to be on the VCS board and will do my best to help in any way I can.

Susan Wilcox is a mother and a grandmother residing in Englewood, Florida. Her two daughters attended Venice Christian School. Susan earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Buffalo, New York where she taught art to elementary and secondary students for many years.
Susan was saved by God’s grace and mercy in 1983. Her testimony is not boring and shows the miraculous love of Jesus Christ for His followers. Her life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. During that time, she transitioned from teaching to consulting for the American Red Cross to pharmaceuticals where she spent to majority of her corporate career.

She yearned for more study of the Bible and knowing Jesus more intimately. Returning to school, she earned an Associate and Bachelor’s degree from White Horse School of Ministries in Indiana. Sensing a call to share the Word of God and use her mercy gift, she is currently enrolled in a Faith-based Pastoral Counselor degree program.
